In a latest incident involving violence against women, a 12-year-old girl was gang-raped in a town of Okara Cantt on Sunday.
Reports said the girl was assaulted in the agricultural fields near her residence in Town 45/2-L where she had gone to collect fodder for the cattle. The victim was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Police have registered a case against the rapists, said to be local residents. Raids are being made for their arrest.
