The Sindh High Court on Friday issued notice to Sector Commander Ghazi and barred Rangers from taking illegal action against Ziauddin Hospital.
Former minister and chairman Sindh higher education commission Dr Asim Hussain’s wife had filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) pleading that Dr Asim has not been provided with medical care nor he has been allowed to meet his family despite the courts orders.
She argued that Dr Asim is sick and his disease could increase, adding that action should be taken against the Rangers Wing Commander for not implementing court orders.
On the other hand, the SHC issued notices to all the stakeholders including Home Ministry till September 23 on the petition filed against Rangers raids at Ziauddin Hospital.
A petition was filed against Rangers raids at Ziauddin Hospital and said that Rangers carried out nine raids at the hospital and seized hospital’s record from 2008 to till date. The raids were conducted without warrants.
The barred Rangers from conducting raid at the hospital.
