A labourer died of suffocation while two others fell unconscious when the rubble from the sewage line they were digging fell on them near Montgomery Road on Friday.
According to reports, the three labourers – Waseem Zakir and Naeem – were from the same family. Waseem died on the spot, while the two others were critically injured and were ferried to the Mayo Hospital for treatment.
