Blood of Peshawar terror attack won’t go waste: Sirajul Haq

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Sirajul Haq, while condemning the terrorist attack at Badaber Airbase in Peshawar, said on Friday the blood of the martyrs would not go waste.

Talking to media persons at Al-Markaz Peshawar after addressing party office-bearers at different levels, Haq said that those attacking the people inside mosques were not Muslims. He said terrorists were agents of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan who wanted to destabilise this country to achieve their nefarious designs.

The JI chief said anti-Pakistan powers were using Afghanistan’s land against this country. He said Indian forces’ shelling had become a routine matter as New Delhi had begun an undeclared war against Pakistan.

Haq said that irrefutable proofs of Indian agency RAW’s involvement in terrorist activities in Karachi and Balochistan had already come to the fore and it was high time to bring to the dock those patronising the trained terrorists in order to weed out the menace.

Responding to a question, the JI chief said the terrorist attack could be in reaction of the ongoing war against terrorism. He said that restoration of peace in the country was the biggest challenge and all eyes were on the war.

Haq prayed for the salvation of those martyred in the Badaber airbase attack and for early recovery of those injured.

Meanwhile, JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch also condemned the terrorist attack in Peshawar and prayed for the martyrs and early recovery of the injured.
