The Rangers on Wednesday conducted a raid on the central office of the Fire Brigade near the Civil Hospital Karachi and apprehended two firefighters.
Media reports, quoting sources, said the paramilitary force cordoned off the Fire Brigade office and arrested two firefighters, who were later shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
The arrested firemen Abdul Waheed and Abdul Hafeez were both residents of the Central Fire Brigade Colony.
According to sources, the paramilitary force has sought record of all the firefighters for perusal.
