Girl’s body cut into pieces found from Malir Nullah

A 21-year-old girl was found dead with her body cut into pieces, while six people were injured in separate incidents of violence in Karachi on Wednesday.

Rescuers said body of an unidentified girl was found from Malir Nullah near the K-Electric Office. They said the girl was brutally killed and her body was chopped into pieces. The body has been shifted to a morgue for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, a youth, Fazeel, 20, son of Raees Ahmad, a resident of Landhi, was injured by unidentified gunmen near the Malir court. He was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.

Another youth, Abdul Hakim, 19, son of Abdul Qayyum, a resident of Shireen Jinnah Colony, was shot and wounded near the Faiz Rahman Hospital in Metroville area. He was ferried to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.

Separately, unidentified gunmen injured Iqbal, 35, son of Ghulam Qadir, in Pirabad area of Banaras. The wounded was shifted to the ASH for treatment.

In another incident, Safdar, 33, son of Wahid Bakhsh, was hurt when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him near the United Hotel in Liaquatabad No 9. He was shifted to the ASH for treatment.

Two youths, Anwar Hussain, 24, and Hamidur Rehman, 18, were injured when they were attacked by unidentified gunmen in Gulshan Zia Colony of Orangi Town. They were both brought to the ASH for treatment.
