A fake NAB officer was apprehended on Thursday for extorting Rs 0.2 million from a retired Tehsildar in the jurisdiction of Abpara Police Station.
Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of Abpara Police, lodged a complaint with local police that Aitzaz Sikandar, impersonating as a NAB director extorted Rs 0.2million from him. The accused had been blackmailing him for the past several months.
Police have registered a case and started the investigation.
