DG Rangers says situation in Karachi has improved

Sindh Rangers Director General Major General Bilal Akbar has said that situation in Karachi has improved with the blessing of Allah Almighty.

Talking to a TV channel during a ceremony of Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry in Defence, he said the situation would further improve in 6-8 months as they had identified terrorists and their facilitators.

He said they were establishing a Rangers wing in BinQasimTown. Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar said they had full support of the masses, intellectuals and educated people. “The establishment of peace is our main objective, but it is continuous and time-consuming activity.”

He asked all the stakeholders to express patience. “As many as 75 percent people want to continue the targeted operation for the establishment of peace,” he added.
