Police on Thursday foiled an attempt of robbery at a private bank in Islamabad.
According to police sources, at least three robbers were trying to enter the bank by bulldozing back wall when police officers arrived at the scene. The alleged dacoits opened fire at security officers and in resultant firing one bandit was apprehended while his two accomplices fled the scene.
The detainee was identified as Subhan, a resident of Dir.
Moreover, police have launched search operation to arrest the accused who fled from the scene.
