Indian firing continues across LoC; 1 civilian injured

Indian forces continued shelling and firing across the border Batal Sector on Azad Kashmir in Kotli area, local media reported early on Wednesday.

The reports also mentioned that this unprovoked  firing injured a Pakistani citizen.

The civilian, Ghulam Nabi, is a resident of Alam village of Battal sector. He was wounded in the second incident of ceasefire violation from the Indian side in the last 24 hours. The unprovoked firing from the Indian forces started on Monday. Pakistani forces are said to have given befitting response to the unprovoked Indian aggression.

On Tuesday a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred in cross border firing. This  incident came days after Pakistani border officers met with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi to discuss how to avoid skirmishes, which cause civilian casualties on both sides. The two sides had agreed to stop border violations along the LoC.
