Three killed, 17 injured in clash

At least three people were killed and 17 other injured when a clash erupted between two groups within the Chontra Police Station limits on Tuesday.

According to SHO Chontra Police Station Malik Nawaz, the exchange of harsh words took place between Masood and Abdul Qayyum the residents of Chak Baely before a couple of days. On that, they gathered their accomplices and a scuffle erupted outside a private academy in Chak Baely on Tuesday. As a result, three people were killed on the scene while 17 others received serious bullet injuries.

The deceased were identified as Amir, Bilal and Imran. The three have been shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have started an investigation.
