A forensic test of empty cases of bullets fired on traffic wardens on Mai Kolachi Road suggests involvement of same group in previous attacks on the policemen in Karachi.
On Monday, the police had found 18 empty cases of bullets fired from a 9mm pistol and sent it for forensic examination which reveals the same weapons and ammunition were used in previous attacks targeting traffic wardens and Geo News satellite van.
Investigators say during the test the bullet cases from the Mai Kolachi attack matched with those of found in attacks carried out against traffic wardens in Sadar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Shershah areas of the metropolis.
