An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday declared former in-charge of organisational committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Hammad Siddiqui, as proclaimed offender in a case of gun attack on 2012 rally of an opponent party in Karachi.
In the hearing, police investigation officer of the case told the ATC that accused Amir alias Sar Phata, who is already in police custody in connection with the attack, had revealed involvement of more accused. So, more accused have been booked in the case after the accused’s revelations. After the hearing, the court declared MQM’s Hammad Siddiqui, Manzoor alias Manju, Kamran Kala, Rizwan and Nabeel Mama as proclaimed offenders.
