Blast injures eight scouts in South Waziristan

At least eight scout officials were injured in a bomb blast in South Waziristan’s Wana area on Tuesday.

According to reports, the scouts vehicle was passing through Wana bypass when it was targeted by a remote-controlled bomb placed along the roadside. The blast wounded eight scouts, two of which are in critical condition.

The injured scouts which include Hawaldar Saeed-ul-Ameen, Lance Naik Iqbal Hussain, Rehmanullah, Akhtar Zaib, Zafeer Shah, Hanzala, Abid Hussain and Muhammad Arif were shifted to scout hospital immediately.

Meanwhile in a blast in Tirah Valley’s Naray Baba area, a member of peace committee was injured.
