Two robbers were killed, two managed to escape while two policemen were injured in exchange of fire here on Monday.
Police chased and approached a gang of robbers while it was fleeing after snatching motorcycle from a citizen near Baseerpur area of Okara.
The robbers started firing at police injuring two cops which led to fire exchange. In cross firing two robbers were killed while their two accomplices managed to escape.
The bodies of robbers killed in encounter and injured policemen were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
