At least four police officials were arrested on charge of gambling on the premises of the Police Lines Headquarters on the night falling between Friday and Saturday.
On a tip-off, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Malik Karamat carried out the raid on Barrack-1 and found police personnel Sattar Ahmed, Mutahir Abbas, Faisal Mehmood and a sweeper playing cards while putting money on stake. The police personnel were shifted to the Civil Lines Police Station for further investigation.
