Rangers authorities on Friday challenged Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan’s bail in the Sindh High Court (SHC).
On June 29, an anti-terrorism court in Karachi granted bail to senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Rabita Committee member in a case pertaining to instigating terrorism and harbouring criminals.
The petition submitted by Rangers law officer stated that the accused was granted bail without fulfillment of legal requirements by the lower court. The anti-terrorism court completed case hearing despite the absence of police file and investigation officer. Rangers have requested the court to nullify the decision regarding Amir Khan’s bail.
