Pakistan Army handed over a woman to Indian authorities on Friday who had crossed the Line of Control (LoC) by mistake.
“As a goodwill gesture, Shamim Akhtar, a resident of Nakarkot village in Poonch district was handed over to concerned authorities in Satwal Sector along the Rawalakot LoC,” an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.
“Shamim inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan side of LoC at Chakoti Sector on August 25,” it added.
