United States Ambassador Richard G. Olson paid a farewell called on Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Water and Power and Defence.
Areas of mutual interest and cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense and water and power projects came under discussion. The Minister lauded the positive and cooperative role of the outgoing US ambassador for promoting Pak-US relations .
Mr Olson appreciated the present government endeavors for the improvement in social sectors developments in the country and assured that US would assist Pakistan in the power sector, human resource and infrastructure developments .
The Minister wished Olson the best for his future diplomatic assignments.
