NAB starts action against Rana Mashood for involvement in corruption scandal

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday started taking action against the Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood for involvement in a corruption scandal. He is expected to be summoned in a few days and if failing to do so, can be arrested.

According to reports, NAB has demanded a complete video record related to Mashood’s corruption.

Mashood has stated that the video scandal is a hoax and a baseless allegation. He stated that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has already conducted a complete inquiry in to the matter and a decision has also been given by the Lahore High Court regarding this.

Mashood stated that he was before being a Minister was a lawyer. He stated that he has never committed any corrupt act neither can even think of it.
