The ongoing operation against eateries and food outlets serving unhygienic food by Punjab Food Authority (PFA) continued on Wednesday as PFA’s Data Ganj Bakhsh Town team sealed the emergency canteen of Mayo Hospital due to poor hygienic conditions and dirty freezers. The same team also sealed a distribution agency of Coca Cola located at Abbott Road because of expired bottles and non-availability of license.
In related development, Lasaani Restaurant, located in Lakhsmi Cowk, was sealed due to unhygienic and filthy conditions.
A team of PFA Samanabad team imposed heavy fine on the canteen of a private college and Gourmet bakers near Poonch Road.
All canteens of Allama Iqbal Medical College were sealed by Gulberg town team because of working without license and medical certificates.
