A spray used to prevent the spread of the dengue virus proved dangerous at the Government Girls Highschool Jand here on Thursday.
Fifty students fainted during the fumigation process which was taking place while the school was in session. The students were taken to a local hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has called for an inquiry report into why the fumigation took place without proper safety measures.
