Congo virus patient hospitalised at Hayatabad Medical Complex

A man who was admitted at Hayatbad Medical Complex after his condition got critical was diagnosed with the Congo virus on Wednesday.

According to reports, a 40-year-old Mazoor Khan, resident of Kohat was hospitalised at the Hayatbad Medical Complex when his condition got critical.

The doctors confirmed that the Congo virus was afflicting Manzoor Khan after his tests. They provided him with early medical aid and moved him to the hospital’s isolation ward. His condition is said to be critical.

The doctors also shifted another patient named Tabish to the isolation ward and his blood samples have been sent for laboratory testing.

The medical staff assigned for his treatment has been directed to take all necessary precautions before examining him in order to avoid catching the virus.
