Sindh Rangers arrested three terrorists of a banned outfit and recovered arms during an operation on Monday.
The Rangers spokesman said that reacting to an intelligence report, the paramilitary troops conducted operation in Metroville area of Karachi. He said during the action three terrorists of a defunct organisation identified as Shereen alias Ustad, Yar Rabbani and Akhtar, were detained besides recovery of arms from their possession.
The nabbed terrorists in the preliminary interrogation have admitted their involvement in murder of SHOs Abdul Majeed, Shafique Tanoli, target killings, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and other several crimes. The detained terrorists have been shifted to an undisclosed destination for further interrogation and more important revelations are expected.
