Addressing an impressive ceremony held in New Delhi on Sunday in connection of Defence Day, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in New Delhi Abdul Basit said that Pakistan is a peace loving country and does not have aggressive designs against anyone.
Basit said the war of 1965 was a proof of our determination to defend the motherland against foreign aggression. He said the armed forces and the people of Pakistan had demonstrated spirit of patriotism in the war.
“We know how to defend our homeland. Every Pakistani is ready to render any sacrifice to defend every inch of the mother land.”
