Haripur Tehsil Nazim Aslam Hayat Khan was critically injured in a road accident on Sunday. MPA Faisal Zaman and District Nazim Adil Islam remained safe in the mishap.
Police said that Aslam Hayat Khan was returning back after condoling death of a relative in a nearby village when his vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle of security forces in Bihai village near Ghazi Brotha Channel.
Hayat was critically injured in the accident while MPA Faisal Zaman and District Nazim Adil Islam who were also present in the vehicle survived unhurt.
The injured was shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Tarbela for treatment.
