At least eight unidentified armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire at the ‘Dera’ of PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and member provincial assembly Mian Aslam Iqbal in the wee hours of Monday.
According to the security guard eight unknown gunmen showered bullets at the Dera of Mian Aslam Iqbal and managed to escape. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.
Mian Aslam said that he doesn’t have enmity with anyone, adding that he does not know if the purpose of firing was to spread panic in the area or to threaten him.
