Four bullet-riddled bodies found in Kalat

ANF seizes 3.3 tonnes of Hashish from Qilla Abdullah worth Rs 8b

Levies personnel recovered four bullet-riddled unidentified bodies in Kalat on Sunday.

Levies sources said that locals spotted presence of four dead bodies in Sourab area of district Kalat after which it reached the scene and took the bodies into custody. The bodies were shifted to hospital where identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.

Levies sources said that the deceased were abducted, shot dead and later their bodies were dumped in the said area.

In the meanwhile in Quetta, Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) in its drive against drug trafficking seized huge consignment of Hashish weighing 3.37 tonnes worth Rs 8b. The drug consignment was intended to be smuggled abroad across the sea.

According to details, ANF Quetta on pursuance of an intelligence report, raided a desolate site situated at Killi Salman Khel, Tehsil Gulistan, Qilla Abduallah and seized 3373 kg Hashish (Garda) during the operation. Hashish was stocked at a barren site located inside the chain of complex mountains outside the populated area. It was stuffed in large number of plastic bags.
