FC pays tribute to martyrs

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Frontier Corps (FC) Sunday observed Martyrs Day and paid rich tributes to martyrs of the force who sacrificed their lives for the sake of country.

Talking to media persons on the occasion, Sector Commandant Centre Wajid Qayyum Paracha at Warsak, Swat Scouts Khyber Agency said that due to the sacrifices of Army and FC Jawans, the enemy was defeated 1965 war and currently they were achieving success in war against terrorism. He commended the sacrifices rendered by the tribesmen in 1965 war and the war against terrorism and expressed the hope that they would continue their support to security forces in future too.

Speaking on the occasion, Colonel Naeemullah said that 106 Swat Scouts Jawans had embraced martyrdom in the ongoing war against terrorism. He said that Pakhtuns were proud of the sacrifices rendered by Jawans of Swat Scouts for the protection of country.
