Former ticket holder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Aftab Khan joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with 21 counsellors, nazims and former nazims.
Khan officially announced joining PTI after his meeting with former Punjab governor and PTI senior leader Chaudary Sarwar in Lahore on Sunday.
Talking to media persons after meeting Sarwar, Khan said that he had not seen any governance in Punjab and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will be beaten badly than Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in next general elections.
There is only difference in name otherwise PPP and PML-N are same and “looting country for their benefits”, he added. He further said that PTI will be leading in the next election and will beat both PPP and PML-N.
