District administration in collaboration with Livestock Department Rawalpindi conducted raids on illegal slaughter houses and recovered 90 maund substandard meat on Saturday.
As many as 14 suspects were arrested during the raids and three illegal slaughter houses were sealed.
Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Hassan Ranjha with the assistance of police and Livestock Department carried out raids on illegal slaughter houses and recovered unhealthy meat which was later destroyed.
Police also found fake stamps of livestock department in the possession of the apprehended.
Police have registered cases against them and started the investigation.
