KP police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sarhad University, Peshawar for capacity building of the KP police. The university already provides training courses for enhancement of the police’s professional skills in IT, electronic investigative skills and public friendly policing strategies.
As part of the progamme, former inspector general of Motorway Police Dr Wasim Kausar, PSP, PhD delivered a lecture to the eighty under-training traffic wardens of KP police in the seminar hall of Sarhad University.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Dr Salim ur Rehman, senior faculty members and high ranking officials of the KP police also participated in the event.
