At least five labourers were killed and 32 others injured when roof of a factory caved in following a boiler explosion on Saturday.
According to police, the factory located in Ghakar Mandi caught fire after the boiler explosion. Many laborers were trapped under the debris.
Rescue sources said all the workers were retrieved from the debris.
The police said they have arrested owner and manager of the factory. Fire tenders and ambulances rushed to the area to extinguish the fire and shifted the dead and injured to hospitals.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought report from police official and local administration.
