A statement issued by the Majlis-e-Shura of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) on Saturday said that senior party leaders have advised their chief, Fazlur Rehman to withdraw himself from playing the role of an arbitrator between the government and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over resignations issue.
The JUI-F chief has reportedly withdrawn himself from the role and a final announcement would be made in a press conference.
Per reports, the JUI-F chief said in the meeting that MQM and government did not care of the settled matters which disappointed him. Both the parties did not show any flexibility, he reportedly said.
The party leaders were of the view that both the parties are not giving significance to party chief. In the meeting, the JUI-F chief visit to MQM headquarters 90 was also “disliked”.
