The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist of a banned outfit during a crackdown here on Friday.
The CTD Kohat Region traced and conducted operation against militants in the provincial capital Peshawar during which one terrorist was detained.
The nabbed terrorist identified as Kashif belongs to a defunct organization and besides terror activities he was also head of extortionist wing of the banned outfit.
The detainee has been shifted to an undisclosed destination for further interrogation and important revelations are expected.
