Indian Border Security Force (BSF) once again violated Line of Control (LoC) near Silakot.
According to reports, BSF resorted to unprovoked firing along the Working Boundary in Chaprar sector around 2:00 am on Friday.
However, no property damage or loss of life has been reported so far.
Firing and shelling across the de-facto border, known as the Line of Control (LoC) in disputed Kashmir and the Working Boundary in Punjab, has been on the rise since last month.
The chiefs of the Pakistan Rangers and the Indian Border Security Force are expected to meet in New Delhi from September 9 to 13 to discuss recent firing incidents and cross-border smuggling.
