A man, identified as Tariq Mehmood, was axed to death in the Jahanabd area of Hassanabdal. Mehmood, 40, was going home from work when unidentified criminals attacked him with axe near a local bridge known as Choro Wali Pul.
The police shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hassanabdal for medico-legal formalities. The Jari Khas police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
