Governor Sindh leaves for Dubai

Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan left for Dubai, UAE on Wednesday.

The Governor will hold a meeting with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

Sources said that Ibad is making a reconciliation effort by holding talks with Zardari after he had passed a mocking statement against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif. He had criticized PM for repeating the politics of 1990s.

“The politics of revenge should be immediately be stopped otherwise it will produce disastrous consequences,” said Asif Ali Zardari.

The meeting between the two leaders holds great importance in context of the Sindh situation. Key decisions are likely to be taken regarding political scenario in Sindh.

According to a local media source, in his absence Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani will perform duties as Acting Governor Sindh.
