Amid ongoing political tension, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday stopped the PML-N leaders from commenting on PPP Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zaradari’s recent statement.
In a TV interview, Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs Asif Saeed Karmani said that Nawaz Sharif is following policy of reconciliation with all the political parties and under this policy he has directed the party leaders to avoid responding to Zardari’s remarks.
The Prime Minister has stated that he does not want any tiff in the political atmosphere.
Earlier, the government ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to halt arrest of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani.
