Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday decided to hold re-polls in NA-122 under supervision of commission’s officials instead of judicial representatives.
Polling for re-elections in NA-122 and NA-154 will be held on October 11. Bannu’s Regional Election Commissioner will perform duty as District Returning Officer in NA-122. Lahore’s District Election Commissioner will work as Assistant Returning Officer.
An official notification has been issued in the matter.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan had announced Aleem Khan as candidate for NA-122, whereas, PTI s secretary general Jahangir Tareen will contest on party ticket in NA-154.
