Women’s Parliamentary Caucus here on Monday led a protest rally against unprovoked Indian shelling on Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.
The protesters marched from press club to Amaldar Chowk and raised slogans. The disgusted protesters said that India is conspiring to destroy peace in the region by running away from talks with Pakistan.
They urged the international forums to take notice of India’s ill motives.
Other towns in Azad Kashmir including Mirpur, Kotli, Rawalakot, Bagh and Neelum also saw protest demonstrations participated by a large number of people. The protestors said that innocent people were being targeted by the Indian forces to harass them.
At least 23 innocent civilians have embraced martyrdom while 200 injured in the last two months by Indian firing and shelling.
