Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has the power to take action against corruption. He was talking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly.

Sanaullah said that false cases were registered against his party member during General Musharraf’s era and the senior lawyers of that time could not prove even a single allegation. He said that his party will not register any case against Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) during the last two years. He said that accountability is the job of NAB.

Replying to a question, the law minister said that in by-elections, votes are cast in favour of the party instead of personalities.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sit-in will be buried in constituencies NA-122 and NA-154.

Commenting on the meeting between Zulfiqar Khosa and Shujaat Hussain, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League (PML) is only one party which is led by Nawaz Sharif while the others are zero plus zero. He said that Pakistan is a democratic country and every person has the right to form a political party for his political activities.
