India cannot impose hegemony; be given befitting response to any aggression: Raza Rabbani

Chairman of the Senate Mian Raza Rabbani has strongly condemned the Indian provocations at the LoC and Working Boundary and warned that it cannot impose its hegemony in the region through aggression.

Chairman Senate expressed these views after visiting injured persons at CMH Sialkot on Sunday. He said that innocent civilians including women, children and elderly people have been killed and injured due Indian Shelling on working boundary near Sialkot.

Chairman Senate said that Modi government has failed to deliver on political fronts and is trying to worsen situation at borders with Pakistan to divert attention of its people and the world from its internal failures and is making lame excuses to save its image. He said a befitting response would be given to India if it ventured for an aggression against Pakistan.

Raza Rabbani said that our valiant armed forces have the ability to retaliate any aggression and if violations continued, armed forces would react effectively. He said that government should raise voice against Indian barbarism at all international fora including UN and OIC so that world must know the facts and true picture of the situation. Raza Rabbani said that Pakistan wants peace in the region and has made huge sacrifices for global and regional peace.

“ I will talk to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take effective measures to secure bordering villages “ Raza Rabbani assured the victims. He also distributed bouquets among the injured person and expressed his sympathies and well wishes for their early recovery. He directed the hospital administration to ensure provision of maximum facilities for treatment of injured persons.
