Defence Minister warns of heavy losses to India if war imposed

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Sunday said that armed forces and the nation will defend every inch of their motherland at any cost and if war is imposed, we would give a befitting response to India that its coming generations would remember it for decades.

Talking to newsmen during his visit to the Kundunpur village along the working boundary in Sialkot on Sunday, Asif said if India tried to impose war on Pakistan, heavy losses will be inflicted on India which it will remember for centuries. Kundunpur was badly affected by the recent unprovoked Indian border forces firing and shelling.
He said cowardly acts by the Indian forces have strengthened the determination of the nation to defend its motherland. He said” we will give our blood for the defence of every inch of the motherland”.

Kh Asif said Pakistan would never accept Indian hegemony in the region. He said Pakistan is concerned over the deaths by Indian firing by such sacrifices raise our determination against the enemy.

The defence minister said India’s real face is exposing as it is supporting terrorism in Pakistan and creating tension on borders through unprovoked firing along the working boundary and line of control. He said India is diverting attention from its internal failures by creating tension on the borders.

Asif said sacrifices of the martyrs will not go waste. He said civilians were severely injured in the unprovoked firing by the Indian border forces.

The minister further said Pakistan has proofs of India’s interference in Pakistan.

He said the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will present these proofs United Nations General Assembly session on September this year. Prime Minister will also present these proofs to the US leadership during his America visit in October this year.

On the occasion Khawaja Asif announced compensation of Rs 75,000 for every seriously injured.
