A Sindh Rangers law officer on Saturday submitted former petroleum minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain’s medical report to the anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday.
The law officer said that Dr Asim is completely fit and does not need to be admitted in the hospital. He added that the PPP leader is being provided with all the medical facilities.
His medical checkup was done in Ranger’s hospital in Nazimabad, the official told the court.
On August 27, the ATC remanded Dr Asim for 90 days to Rangers custody. According to Rangers’ information, Dr Asim is involved in money laundering and terror financing.
