At least 10 people, including eight children and two women, drowned after a boat capsized in Kirthar Canal of Sukkur Barrage on Friday.
Rescue teams rescued one woman and five children and they were shifted to a nearby hospital while search for the four missing, including a woman and three children was underway. Locals said that the people onboard were students and teachers going to a school located on the other side of the canal.
