As per financial results for the Half Year ended June 30, 2015, The Bank of Khyber (BOK)’earned Rs. 710.035 million Profit after tax (PAT) its first six months of 2015, showing 12% growth over the PAT of corresponding period of 2014 which was Rs. 633.734 million.
The Half Year results were discussed in a meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors, which was chaired by Dr. Hammad Uwais Agha, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa & Chairman BOK Board of Directors. The Board showed their satisfaction over the performance and growth in all operational areas of the BOK during the period under review and approved the Half Yearly Accounts for the period 30th June 2015. The Board was also informed that during the period Bank’s operating profit was recorded at Rs. 1,609.275 million showing growth of 63 % Over Rs. 987.646 million of corresponding period of 2014. The BOK total assets recorded at Rs. 142.457 billion showing 32% growth over corresponding period of 2014 which were Rs. 108.192 billion as compared with June 30, 2014 Whereas BOK investment recorded at Rs. 82.682 billion registering growth of 55% against Rs 53.363 billion of corresponded period of 2014.
