Attacking on Election Commission of Pakistan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday said that there were no doubts left now that ECP was biased after its decision not to extend contracts of tribunals after verdicts against ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

“There should be no doubt now about ECP’s bias after its decision not to extend contracts of Kazim Malik and Rana Zahid after verdicts against PML-N,” tweetted Imran Khan.

He said that Justice (r) Kazim was only acceptable to ECP when he gave thirty verdicts in favour of Nawaz Sharif’s party.

The statement comes a day after Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (r) Sardar Raza refused to extend contracts of Lahore election tribunal’s member Kazim Ali Malik and other two tribunals of Punjab and asked the Lahore High Court chief justice to name judges for the new appointments.

The terms of the above mentioned judges are going to end on August 31.

All these three judges had given verdicts against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leaders. Kazim Malik had given verdict against Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Javed Rasheed had given verdict against Khawaja Saad Rafique while Rana Zahid had declared the results of NA-154 as invalid.
