At least 50 suspects were arrested during search operation in different areas of the provincial capital, Lahore, on Friday.
In connection with National Action Plan (NAP) implementation, search operation against outlaws and anti-state elements was conducted across the city.
Deputy supritendent of police (DSPs), station house officers (SHOs) and more than 600 policemen belonging to various police stations participated in the search operation.
The police checked the Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) of the citizens and nabbed more than 50 who failed to provide CNIC or clarify their identity.
The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed destination for further interrogation.
