Iran gifts 5 hospitals to flood affected people of Sindh

Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, while thanking the Iranian government for building five hospitals in flood affected areas of Sindh province for mothers and children care, has termed the signing of MOU between Sindh and Iranian government a milestone in the history of both countries.

In a statement issued here on Thursday he said that the Iranian government was building 5 hospitals in 2010 flood affected areas, Khairpur, Badin, Thatta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana which would benefit mothers and children.

Health Minister Sindh added, ’40 bed hospital at Khairpur has been inaugurated while hospitals in Badin, Thatta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana are nearly in completion.’ This action of Iranian government will improve brotherly relations between the people of Sindh and Iran, he concluded.
